Land of Mine Official Trailer 1 (2016) – Roland Moller Movie

As World War II comes to an end, a group of German POWs, boys rather than men, are captured by the Danish army and forced to engage in a deadly task—to defuse and clear land mines from the Danish coastline. With little or no training, the boys soon discover that the war is far from over. Inspired by real events, Land of Mine exposes the untold story of one tragic moment in post-war history.

  1. hehehehe. surprisingly ze Germans dont bother making movies about how much suffering they caused.. you know? the death camps, blitzkrieg, murdering women and children, etc… so they chose to make a movie about 2000 "forced" soldiers, some of them teens? HAHAHAHA… a drop in an ocean. not to mention.. at least they had a chance, the ones in the death camps or civilians killed had none. Germans makers of this film conveniently used "Germans" instead of Nazi's in the entire movie. how odd… because every time i hear about ww2 its always the Nazi's that attacked Europe… not Germans.. BS propaganda. sorry. no pity. they used hitlers soldiers, not german civilians.

  2. Someone had to tell the story, and I am glad they made this film.  To me, it made me feel sad and disturbed, but it also did show little bit of hope in humanity.  This film is not really about WW2 or Nazis.  It's more about human beings who were trapped in the peculiar situation.

  3. Yes, it is realy sad, that young soldiers like in this film, killed over 6000000 Polish people: unborn childs, young, old , mothers, fathers, whole families …

  4. Hitler was not evil. The allies created the conditions for evil. I give it 10 years for the word "immigrant " becomes a repugnant word like the word jew in the old days. Governments are destroying cultures and identity. Pretty soon the economy will crash because of the welfare system that's burdening each nation because of refugees. The government doesn't care about its ppl. Europe has become tolerant because of the war but how long can we tolerate the intolerable. The conditions are going to create a war that going to be more destructive. The world will know that Hitler was right.

  5. Sickening how societies view their men and even boys as disposable. That's why boys like these were conscripted in the war, because they're viewed as disposable. If they die in war, the reaction from most is "meh". Makes me sick.

  6. I love how half of the comments here are mad zionists saying this movie can only be bad cause it puts Germans as the victims. Just shows how deeply imbedded the Jewish Propaganda is these days.

  7. Wow, even "evil unhuman Soviet Union" used own sappers to disarm minefields, but "good democratic europeans" desided that it would be a good idea to clear such areas with POWs, solving both problems at once.

  8. I watched the movie and it was excellent! To warn all who watch it, it is very sad. I like it because, it shows a different aspect of the war, I movie in which we can feel sympathy for the germans and not feel hatred towards them.

  9. Absolutely excellent movie! I watched that during the flight and i pretended i am sick because i had very often wet eyes 🙂 one of the best movie i have ever seen! Roland Møller and Louis Hofmann ! Music super!

  10. I just saw it tonight at Tower Theater in Miami. Very powerful its quiet at times storytelling. The deaths are all different but they hit you hard. The one of the last surviving Siamese Twin is the worst of them I think. After the film the list the fact that 3000 German troops were used to clear mines and debris from the war there. 2000 were used to clear mines and explosives and 1,000 were killed or injured. The last scene is powerful in its own way but I will not spoil its redeeming quality.

  11. It should not have been young boys cleaning up the bombs, but the grownups who sent them to war.
But still the germans were responsible for laying out bombs on my beach.. So naturally they are supposed to clean up that shit, the ones that laid them out and were responsible.

  12. Let's get this truth out, many of Germany people were deceived to go the war and think they will win, many profit from the war and many enjoy it and many found it as a way to escape and be free and many fought for their country and for their families rather than one man.

Evil and terrible Things happen yet Good things happen throughout those years, days and mouths either they are recorded or not.

Not all of the Nazi Army was Evil and bad, There was Good and Bad in the war and it was on both sides of Germany and the rest of different countries, many lives were lost, but what made world war 2 truly inspiring was that they were fighting together for a Good reason and not only that they fought brave and strong, even the Germans and Russia, it's very scary in reality but behind phones and texting it isn't but we should be grateful for what Everyone fought for and that was freedom and peace and end the war.
